Cookies and trackers
What this site puts on your device, what for, and how to refuse it.
In force since 4 October 2026.
What these are
A cookie, or tracker, is a small file stored on your device when you visit the site. Some are needed to run the shop; the rest are only set with your consent.
The rules here are article 82 of the French data protection act, as the CNIL reads it.
Necessary trackers
These run the shop: keeping the cart, remembering the language and country, securing payment, and storing your cookie choice.
They do no analytics and no advertising. They cannot be refused without preventing an order.
fi_sid — set by api.furandink.com — identifies your preview session for 30 days to count your free previews — strictly necessary, exempt from consent — 30 days.
Analytics
These count visits and pages viewed, to understand what is actually useful on the site.
They are set only after your consent. The CNIL exempts analytics from consent only where it is strictly limited to the publisher's own statistics, anonymised, not cross-referenced and not passed to third parties. This site does not claim to be in that case, so it asks.
Advertising
These show whether an advert led to a visit or an order, and stop the same advert being shown to someone who has already bought.
They are set only after your consent. No photo, no email address and no pet name is sent to an advertising network.
Your consent
On a first visit, a banner offers accept or refuse. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing does not stop you ordering.
No box is pre-ticked, and not answering does not count as accepting.
Until you have answered, nothing is sent to any analytics tool or advertising network.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time from the cookie-management link in the footer.
You can also delete cookies already stored from your browser's settings.
How long they last
Your choice (accept or refuse) is kept for at most twelve months before you are asked again. If a consent-exempt analytics tool is ever installed, its trackers will last at most thirteen months and the data collected will be kept at most twenty-five months, following the CNIL's recommendations.
